We're hearing that some stations almost out of mayoral ballots. More have been sent out but it lends weight to the feeling voter turnout could be very high. .
The room is getting crowded...a few hundred people @ the Mandel party now.

Some polling stations report 70 percent voter turnout.
I have moved from Envision Edmonton's party to councillor Kim Krushell's. Early numbers show improved voter turnout. Krushell isn't sure if that's due to people angry about council's airport decision or people angry about pro-airport campaign tactics.
Strathcona County: Incumbent Mayor Cathy Olesen trailing by 15 votes to Linda Osinchuk. 2 polls reporting.
The wait is on for Mandel to arrive...supposed to be soon...

Krushell is watching results coming in. She has a slight lead over Don Koziak. When she saw the numbers, she anxiously said it's still early..
Camrose: Incumbent mayor Clarence Mastel trailing Marshall Chalmers by 23 votes, 3 of 18 polls reporting.
Strathcona County: Linda Osinchuk now leading by 564 votes in mayoralty race. 7 of 27 polls reporting.
David MacLean, communications director for Dorward campaign remains positive after early results show Mandel in the lead. .
Edmonton: Stephen Mandel with lead of 2200+ votes over David Dorward, 16 out of 324 polls reporting.
Strathcona County: Linda Osinchuk now leads by 1019 votes over incumbent Cathy Olesen in race for mayor. 11 of 27 polls reporting.
